I think?? the rice saved my phone. The interwebz said to put your phone in dried rice for 24hrs to let it pull out all the moisture then try it. Well, I am impatient as hell and decided to try it after 10hrs and it kinda worked for a min but then spazzed out and started pressing allllll the buttons when I wasn’t near them. So back in the rice it went. So far this morning it appears to be working. I’m out of town again this week so I don’t want to go to Best Buy and ship out my phone if I don’t have to. Plus I hate re-downloading all of my apps and trying to remember what I had and where they were. Soooo….I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this will stay working :)
Can I say that being disconnected from everyone and everything for 24hrs was not relaxing? No me gusta. Especially when I’m out of town.

I had my last phone for over two years and I never did anything to it. I’ve had this phone for two months and I’ve shattered the screen and had it replaced. And now, two weeks later, I dropped it in water and thought I could save it, but nope…it’s gone. Back to Best Buy to get it replaced again :/ Thank goodness I have the protection plan!
edit: gonna try the rice drying out thing until tomorrow morning so I really won’t be able to get texts or even see my tumblr since I’ll be heading downstate without my laptop. Disconnection…it’s supposed to be a good thing, right? Meep.
